The Well Ministries

[thumb:590:r]The Well Ministries will once again celebrate the Christmas holidays participating in McKeesport’s 21st Annual Festival of Trees. The event begins on Thursday, November 30th and runs daily through Sunday, December 3rd from noon until 9:00 PM each day. It is held at the Jacob Wohl (Main) Pavilion in Renzie Park. Chalice will sing on Saturday, December 2nd from 1:00 PM till 3:00 PM. Be sure to check our schedule for updates and information.

The Festival of Trees is a heartwarming event that has been a tradition since 1986. Last year over 60 trees each with different themes were decorated and donated by local churches, businesses, and non-profit organizations for the public’s holiday enjoyment. There is also Sleighay Rides through the park to enjoy the lights and scenery, visit with Santa, and holiday music and entertainment. Chalice and Puppets for the King have participated in the event several years. The Well Ministries also sponsored a tree last year. This year our tree is entitled “Unto Us A Child Is Born” and we’ll decorate the tree with “Bucket” ornaments like the one shown to the left with a picture in the bottom of children and grandchildren of friends of The Well Ministries.

If you want to sponsor one of the ornaments send $5 and one photo for each keepsake ornament by November 27th. You can also email us a digital picture to include it on the ornament. Digital photos can be used for as many ornaments as you want. See below for online payment information. Ornaments will be saved upon request that you may pick up at our office or an upcoming event or we can arrange shipment by including $2 extra for postage fees.
